An unauthorized third party gained access to the organization's network using valid credentials, resulting in the exfiltration of customer data including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and financial account information. Approximately 5,249 individuals were affected. The organization engaged forensic investigators, notified law enforcement, reset credentials, and provided credit monitoring services.
