Leavitt Group Enterprises notified the Montana AG of a phishing incident on March 29, 2017, where employee credentials were compromised. An intruder accessed email accounts and viewed names and driver's license numbers of staff members. Leavitt engaged forensic investigators and terminated access. Investigation was ongoing at the time of the June 12, 2017 notice.

Leavitt Group notified employees that on April 5, 2016, the Benefits Department inadvertently emailed an Excel file containing names and Social Security numbers of current and former employees to a small group of staff. The error was discovered shortly after sending. One employee forwarded the email to her husband, who deleted it. Leavitt offered 12 months of credit monitoring.
