Centennial Bank

Centennial Bank notified Massachusetts residents that a third-party service provider, Fidelity Information Services (FIS), inadvertently sent a file containing customer personal information (including names, addresses, dates of birth, account numbers, and Social Security numbers) to an unintended recipient at another financial institution on August 7, 2026. The Bank was notified by FIS on August 17, 2026. The unintended recipient confirmed deletion of the file. The Bank and FIS took immediate steps to contain the incident, including recalling the email and terminating access. FIS retrained the associate and implemented enhanced validation procedures. The Bank offered 24 months of complimentary identity monitoring services.

Centennial Bank notified Washington residents of a ransomware incident occurring April 6-7, 2023. The breach exposed names, SSNs, DOBs, driver's licenses, and financial/payment card data. 3,044 Washington residents were notified on April 19, 2024. The bank engaged forensic specialists, notified law enforcement, and provided 12 months of credit monitoring.

First National Bankers’ Bank notified Centennial Bank customers of a data breach involving the MOVEit Transfer vulnerability. Unauthorized access occurred on May 27, 2023, exposing check images and account numbers. FNBB applied patches, engaged forensic experts, and notified law enforcement. Credit monitoring is offered.
