SEQUOIA ONE PEO, LLC

The breach was discovered on November 17, 2022. The compromised information includes individuals' names and Social Security Numbers. Sequoia began notifying affected individuals on December 2, 2022, and is offering 36 months of complimentary credit monitoring services through Experian.

Sequoia One PEO LLC and Sequoia Benefits and Insurance Services LLC disclosed that an unauthorized party accessed a cloud storage system between September 22 and October 6, 2022. Potentially accessed data included names, addresses, SSNs, DOBs, employment status, wage data, member IDs, work emails, and COVID-related documents. No evidence of data misuse or continuing activity was found. Notifications sent December 2022 with 36-month Experian identity protection offered.

The company engaged Dell Secureworks for forensic review and is offering three years of identity protection via Experian.

Sequoia One PEO LLC reported a data breach to the Indiana Attorney General. The breach occurred on 2022-09-22 and was reported on 2022-12-07. 3,128 Indiana residents were affected. 580,818 individuals affected in total.
