Atlanta Botanical Garden, a non-profit organization, announced a data breach impacting individuals, including one resident of Maine, due to a ransomware attack on its third-party service provider, Blackbaud. The breach occurred between February 7, 2020, and May 20, 2020, and was discovered on October 16, 2020. The compromised data included names and Social Security numbers. In response, the organization provided written notifications to affected individuals on November 13, 2020, and offered identity theft protection services.
