Catholic Medical Center (CMC) reported a security incident involving its vendor, Lamont Hanley & Associates (LH). On June 20, 2023, an LH employee email account was compromised via phishing. The investigation found that personal and health information of 2,792 CMC patients was present in the compromised account. CMC notified the NH Attorney General and affected individuals, offering credit monitoring services.

Catholic Medical Center reported to HHS on 2024-04-15 a Hacking/IT Incident affecting 2792 individuals, originating from an email phishing attack on one of its business associates. The breach compromised protected health information including names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's licenses, and medical treatment details. The information was located within an email system. The center has notified affected individuals and offered complimentary credit monitoring.
