The bank discovered on February 20, 2026, that the attacker accessed messages containing the names and financial account numbers of two Maine residents. Notifications were mailed on March 6, 2026.

Banner Capital Bank submitted a supplemental data breach report to the Nebraska Attorney General regarding a phishing incident affecting 1,844 Nebraska residents. Unauthorized access to an employee email account occurred between August 20, 2025, and September 11, 2025, exposing names, driver's license/state ID numbers, and financial account/payment card numbers. Notifications were mailed on March 6, 2026, offering one year of credit monitoring via Kroll. The bank secured the compromised account and is enhancing email security.

Banner Capital Bank notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a cybersecurity event involving one employee email account. An unauthorized person may have accessed the account between August 20, 2025, and September 11, 2025, potentially viewing messages containing one NH resident's name and financial account number. The bank secured the account, mailed a notice to the affected individual on February 10, 2026, and established a call center. No other bank systems were accessed, and no funds were transferred.
