Pinal County Superintendent’s Office (PCSO) reported a suspected ransomware attack on September 25, 2023, which locked employees out of its data processing environment. The incident affected approximately two New Hampshire residents. PCSO restored data from backups, engaged forensic investigators, and coordinated with law enforcement. Affected individuals received notices offering credit monitoring and identity theft insurance. No forensic evidence confirmed PII compromise, but notices were sent in abundance of caution.
