On April 7, 2020, PBA discovered malicious code embedded in its website after members reported suspicious financial activity. The code was removed on April 8, 2020, but a similar incident occurred on April 21, 2020. Names and credit card information may have been accessed. PBA engaged forensic investigators, notified the FBI, applied security patches, and is reviewing PCI compliance policies. The investigation is ongoing.
