An unknown actor accessed the network between June 29 and July 2, 2025, using ransomware to lock files and exfiltrate data including names, SSNs, and driver's license numbers. The breach was discovered on July 5, 2025. The church notified law enforcement, implemented supplemental security controls, and provided 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring via TransUnion/Cyberscout to affected individuals.
