Full breach record for Perspectives USA →Perspectives, a religious study program, disclosed a database breach occurring in September 2014, discovered in January 2015. Attackers exploited a vulnerability in the public-facing class website to inject malicious advertisements (SEO spam). While no credit card data was stored, eCheck transaction data was accessed. The organization contained the breach, enhanced encryption, and notified affected individuals.
