Tellepsen notified Montana residents of a data security incident involving its third-party payroll provider, Paperless Pay. On Feb 19, 2020, law enforcement alerted Paperless Pay that an unauthorized actor was selling access to client databases. The actor gained access to a server storing Tellepsen employee data. Data potentially exposed included names, addresses, pay info, bank account last four digits, and SSNs. No evidence of actual data access or misuse was found.
