Tellepsen notified Montana residents of a data security incident involving its third-party payroll provider, Paperless Pay. On Feb 19, 2020, law enforcement alerted Paperless Pay that an unauthorized actor was selling access to client databases. The actor gained access to a server storing Tellepsen employee data. Data potentially exposed included names, addresses, pay info, bank account last four digits, and SSNs. No evidence of actual data access or misuse was found. Tellepsen offered 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection via ID Experts.
