Founded in 1983 Inflite has developed progressively to become one of the most important Prime Suppliers to the Aerospace Industry. Our business is based around four Divisions - each possessing knowledge and expertise that are second to none in their respective sectors. The Inflite Group provides design, machining, fabrication, component repair, electrical loom manufacture, and surface treatment services, to the Aerospace and Defence Industries. The company was founded in 1983 and has grown steadily to reach an annual turnover in excess of £45 million. The Inflite Divisions are based in comprehensive, new, purpose-built manufacturing facilities at Stansted and Chelmsford in Essex and in Manchester. The total surface area occupied by the Group exceeds 600,000 square feet, and is one of the largest privately owned facilities of its kind in the UK. The Inflite group of companies provides a complete spectrum of skills in all areas of manufacture, undertaking total responsibility for the condition of supply, in accordance with the customer's specifications, whether the requirement calls for components, assemblies or turnkey items. Aerospace Surface Treatments (AST) is part of the Swan Investments Group and a sister company of Inflite Jet Centre and Inflite Engineering Services. AST was formed in 1996 from the treatments division of HE Ltd. Soon after that date a manufacturing division was added mainly to support the manufacturing facility at Inflite Engineering Services. The companies activities in the corporate market continues with the development of a new FBO facility at Stansted, recognised as the benchmark for the corporate market. In 2005 the facility became an Embraer Authorised Service Centre.
