Med-A-Vision, Inc., a third-party administrator for health reimbursement services, notified regulators of a breach where an unauthorized user accessed an employee's email account. The intrusion began as early as July 17, 2018, and was discovered on August 13, 2018, after a recipient reported a suspicious email. The attacker copied emails containing names, SSNs, and potentially health savings account info. Approximately 1,057 individuals were affected, including 28 New Hampshire residents. Med-A-Vision offered one year of Experian IdentityWorks monitoring.
