Alogent

Alogent, a financial technology solutions provider, reported a data breach impacting approximately 4,543,850 individuals. The breach, which occurred and was discovered on May 31, 2023, was attributed to an external system hack. This incident's timing is consistent with the widespread exploitation of the MOVEit file transfer vulnerability. The compromised information included names combined with financial account or credit/debit card numbers and their associated access codes. Alogent began notifying affected consumers on August 14, 2023, and offered complimentary identity protection and credit monitoring services.
