West Texas Gas

West Texas Gas reported that an unauthorized third party gained access to its network beginning approximately May 16, 2023. The company became aware of the unauthorized activity on May 27, 2023. The attacker copied certain files containing personal information, including names and, in some cases, Social Security or tax identification numbers, and deleted other files. The company launched an investigation, notified law enforcement, and implemented enhanced security measures. No evidence of misuse of the personal information was found. Affected individuals are offered two years of complimentary Equifax Credit WatchTM Gold.
