TRISTAR Insurance Group notified the California Attorney General of unauthorized access to its email environment beginning November 4, 2022, and subsequent access to certain systems starting November 9, 2022. The company became aware of suspicious activity on November 10, 2022. Customer information, including names and potentially other personal data, was exfiltrated. TRISTAR engaged forensic specialists, secured the environment, reported to law enforcement, and offered credit monitoring services.
