Lebanon Community School District 9 (LCSD) notified the Maryland Attorney General of a data security incident experienced by its third-party vendor, Carruth Compliance Consulting. Carruth reported that personal information may have been acquired without authorization on or about December 21, 2024. The incident affected approximately one Maryland resident. Affected data may include name, Social Security number, driver’s license number, financial account information, and medical billing information. LCSD engaged third-party specialists, notified the FBI, and offered 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
