On or about November 20, 2024, BHR detected suspicious activity and determined an unauthorized actor accessed systems containing names, Social Security numbers, biometric/genetic data, and driver's license numbers. No confirmation existed that data was viewed or taken. BHR engaged third-party experts, notified federal law enforcement and HHS, and mailed notices to affected individuals starting April 17, 2025, offering Equifax credit monitoring services.
