LENSAR Inc notified Nebraska AG of a business email compromise incident discovered on April 8, 2025. An unauthorized party impersonated a commercial partner to deceive an employee into wiring funds. The attempt was unsuccessful, but the attacker accessed an employee's inbox containing W9 forms and payment authorizations with names, SSNs, and bank routing/account numbers. LENSAR secured the account, engaged forensic advisors, and offered 12 months of identity protection via IDX to affected independent contractors.
