Digital Theatre, LLC notified Hawaii OCP of a security incident where unauthorized individuals installed malware on its server hosting ShowTix4U. The incident affected approximately 1,453 Hawaii residents, compromising personal and payment card information (names, addresses, card numbers, CVV) for purchases made between April 19 and September 30, 2015. Digital Theatre discovered the incident on October 9, 2015, engaged forensic investigators, secured intrusion points, and outsourced payment processing. Notifications were sent to affected individuals in late October 2015.
