The code allowed an unidentified third party to capture credit card information (full number, expiration, CVV) and account credentials (username, password) of approximately 1,614 California residents. The incident was discovered on November 9, 2016, when the company was identified as a point of purchase for credit card fraud. Malicious code was removed, and affected customers were notified starting December 28, 2016.
