The Wolff Company notified limited partners of a data incident at Transcontinental Fund Administration (TFA), the fund administrator. A former TFA employee allegedly took client information including names, addresses, SSNs, and tax IDs from the Chicago office in late September 2015. TFA implemented loss-recovery, sued the employee, obtained a restraining order, and notified the FBI. No fraud was detected as of the notice date.
