Laborers International Union of North America Local 1098

Laborers' International Union of North America, Local 1184 experienced a ransomware attack on November 17, 2024. An unauthorized third party used credentials obtained from external sources to access the union's secured computer system and infect it with ransomware. The union regained control on November 18, 2024. Personal information potentially compromised includes names, membership numbers, telephone numbers, home addresses, Social Security numbers, email addresses, and work dispatch records for members, represented individuals, and employees. The union engaged outside experts, notified law enforcement, and is offering 12 months of identity monitoring via Kroll.
