Accurate Word, LLC notified the NH Attorney General of a security breach on August 16, 2019, affecting approximately 16 New Hampshire customers. An external attacker exploited the BlueKeep vulnerability via RDP to gain unauthorized access to the company's website. Customer names, credit card account numbers, and passwords were compromised during transmission to the merchant servicer, PNC. The company blocked RDP access, removed malicious files, enforced HTTPS, and confirmed no further breaches. Two instances of unauthorized charges were reported.
