Apple America Group LLC reported the loss of an unencrypted USB flash drive containing W-2 information (names, addresses, SSNs, wage/tax data) for 1,107 New Hampshire residents. The drive was lost by an outside consultant hired to improve payroll systems on March 3, 2015. The company traced the consultant's travel and checked lost-and-found offices but has not recovered the drive. No evidence of misuse exists. Affected employees are offered 12 months of credit monitoring via Experian.
