The King School, a private pre-K through 12 school in Stamford, CT, notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a security incident involving one NH resident. The breach originated from a ransomware attack on third-party vendor Blackbaud's network between February 7 and May 20, 2020. Blackbaud exfiltrated unencrypted backup files containing the resident's name and Social Security Number. The King School discovered the incident on July 16, 2020, upon notification from Blackbaud. The King School notified the affected individual on December 29, 2020, and offered two years of complimentary credit monitoring.
