The attacker exfiltrated a database backup containing limited alumni and donor PII (names, DOB, addresses, SSNs, financial data) before ransomware deployment was stopped. 1,066 Washington residents were notified on August 24, 2020. Hamline paid the ransom and is working with Blackbaud on remediation.
