Medscan Labratory, Inc. (d/b/a Adaptive Health Integrations) reported that on October 17, 2021, an unauthorized individual accessed a limited amount of data stored on its systems. The investigation, concluded on February 23, 2022, determined that personal information, including Social Security numbers and potentially medical information, was accessed. The company contained the threat by disabling unauthorized access and engaged external cybersecurity professionals. Affected individuals were offered one year of complimentary identity monitoring through Kroll.
