A ransomware attack occurred in May 2020, exposing unencrypted data of one New Hampshire resident, including their Social Security Number. USDF discovered the breach upon Blackbaud's notification on July 16, 2020, and mailed individual notices on December 4, 2020. Remediation included Blackbaud fixing the vulnerability and offering 24 months of credit monitoring.
