Avon Old Farms School notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a cybersecurity incident involving its third-party vendor, Blackbaud, Inc. An unauthorized third party exfiltrated data from Blackbaud's systems between April 18 and May 7, 2020. While ransomware was attempted, it was prevented; however, data was exfiltrated. Initially believed encrypted, personal information (names, SSNs/TINs) of 57 New Hampshire residents was found to be unencrypted. Avon notified residents and provided two years of credit monitoring.
