LCS Financial Services, a nationwide debt collection agency, notified consumers of a cybersecurity incident where unauthorized access to systems occurred on or about February 24, 2023. The breach affected personal information including names and variable data elements. LCS engaged forensic experts, reported to the FBI, and offered credit monitoring services. No evidence of actual misuse was found. The incident was discovered on February 25, 2023.
