New American Funding, LLC reported a data security incident involving its third-party notary vendor, Mobile Notary Zone (MNZ). On June 6, 2025, NAF learned of suspicious activity at MNZ where an unauthorized actor accessed systems containing consumer mortgage documents. NAF's own systems were not compromised. The incident potentially exposed names, addresses, SSNs, DOBs, and financial account info for 324 New Hampshire residents. NAF terminated the vendor, notified law enforcement, and offered 12 months of credit monitoring.
