Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy notified Montana residents of a third-party vendor (Blackbaud) breach. Unauthorized access occurred Feb 7–May 20, 2020. Attackers exfiltrated encrypted backup files containing names and SSNs, attempted ransomware encryption, and paid a ransom. NDPMA removed SSNs from its database and provided one year of Kroll identity monitoring.
