Blackbaud experienced a ransomware attack in May 2020, resulting in the exfiltration of backup files. Blackbaud paid a ransom and confirmed the files were destroyed. The Center for Early Education conducted an investigation and determined the data was involved on September 2, 2020. One year of identity monitoring via Kroll was provided to affected individuals.
