An unauthorized third party copied files containing names, addresses, and Social Security Numbers between May 30-31, 2023, exploiting a vulnerability discovered by Progress Software. PokerStars detected the issue on June 2, 2023, engaged forensic experts, notified law enforcement, discontinued use of the application, and offered 24 months of credit monitoring.
