The City of Miami Beach reported that on September 3, 2024, an archive folder containing utility customer information was inadvertently moved to a publicly accessible folder within its document management system. The folder contained names, driver's license or government ID numbers, financial account information, and Social Security numbers. The City immediately removed the folder and secured the data. This supplemental notice updates a prior November 2024 filing, adding five additional Maryland residents to the total of 13 affected Maryland residents notified. Credit monitoring services were offered.
