The Philadelphia Inquirer notified Delaware AG (and other states) of a cybersecurity incident occurring May 11-13, 2023. An unauthorized party accessed internal systems, viewing/copying files containing names and government identifiers (SSN, DOB, driver's license). The company engaged third-party specialists, secured the environment, notified law enforcement, and offered 24 months of credit monitoring via Experian. No fraud evidence was found at time of notice.
