Lincoln Technical Academy

Lincoln Technical Institute notified students of a cybersecurity incident involving its third-party vendor, Instructure Holdings, Inc., provider of the Canvas learning management system. Unauthorized activity was detected by Instructure on April 29, 2026, with additional activity identified on May 7, 2026. The incident has been contained. Affected data may include names, email addresses, student ID numbers, course names, enrollment information, and direct messages. No passwords, financial data, or government identifiers were involved. Lincoln Tech launched its own investigation and is monitoring the situation.
