Tungsten Automation Corporation (f/k/a Kofax, Inc.) reported an external system breach (hacking) that occurred on May 20, 2025 and was discovered on May 27, 2025. A total of 5,556 individuals were affected nationwide, including 12 Maine residents. Affected individuals were offered 24 months of complimentary Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring and fraud protection services. Consumer notification letters were sent on August 22, 2025.
