ReproSource Fertility Diagnostics Inc. experienced a ransomware attack on August 8, 2021, discovered on August 10, 2021. The attacker accessed the network and deployed ransomware. ReproSource contained the incident, engaged forensic experts, and notified law enforcement. While unauthorized data acquisition was not confirmed, personal information (names, addresses, DOB, billing, health/CPT codes, diagnosis codes, test results, medical history, insurance IDs) of potentially affected individuals was accessed. Notifications were sent starting September 24, 2021, offering one year of complimentary identity monitoring via Kroll.
