TuneCore

TuneCore, a digital music distribution platform, disclosed a cybersecurity incident in November 2015 involving unauthorized access to its servers. An intruder illegally exported customer data, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, royalty statements, billing information, and protected passwords. TuneCore notified affected customers, engaged law enforcement and a cybersecurity firm, reset passwords, and provided one year of free identity monitoring.
