Accident Insurance Company experienced a cyber incident in April 2020 where unauthorized persons attempted to interfere with its computer system. Although the attempt did not succeed, sensitive information including names, addresses, SSNs, and medical diagnosis/treatment data may have been accessed. AIC reported the incident to the FBI and offered 12 months of credit monitoring and identity protection services to affected individuals.
