LexisNexis notified New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly Ayotte on May 1, 2009, regarding unauthorized access to consumer data held by ChoicePoint and LexisNexis. Former customers obtained access via fraudulent accounts between June 2004 and October 2007, viewing names, DOBs, and SSNs. 156 NH residents were notified. LexisNexis delayed notification per USPIS request and subsequently offered one year of free credit monitoring.
