Spear Wilderman

Spear Wilderman, P.C. notified affected individuals on November 16, 2022, following a network security incident where an unauthorized third party infiltrated the firm's network and encrypted data. The firm shut off network access, engaged forensic specialists, and secured the environment. Exposed data categories included names, driver's license/state ID numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, medical diagnosis/treatment information, financial account information, and Social Security numbers. No evidence of fraudulent misuse was found at the time of notification. The firm provided 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring and fraud assistance.
